What drivers should be installed to make a sound card work?

I found out what sound card I had by taking it out an looking at it. The sound worked before I had to switch harddrives out. The restore CDs won’t work because of the changed parts I’m assuming. Any other suggestions?

are you sure about your sound card is working?
is there any error on those bunch of items? if there is none then try to check volume control. if there is then you might have installed the wrong driver. normally just a driver is enough for the sound card to work. try to look at the sound card’s chip and search the driver online
silly question maybe but did you check the volume ? are your speakers working ?
find the operating system CD the repair it the drivers are going to be repaired including the sound drivers.Hope this will help.
